Monthly updates for July

This month I have started my new program at Arohanui. It goes from July 2026 to Dec 2026. It’s been a great month starting up my new sessions! In the new program I have carried on doing drama sessions.  The first two weeks were the school holidays so instead of Drama I did a karaoke session(with Te Puke and Wilrose centre.).  I also had a pirate adventure! Drama has just started up for the new term so I haven’t found out what the next production will be next. It’s great that I have carried on with connect 20 in the new program.  I love having a drink and socialising with my friends. In the new program I have Community inclusion sessions. The highlight of this month was when I went to the pot gallery at the historic village.  I saw clay sculptures and a fairy garden walk. I also went to Waipuna Park in Welcome Bay to show off my Basketball skills! I have woodwork again in the new program. This month I have been sculpting a sign out of wood, with my name on it. Monthly update for June.

Wow! Halfway through the year already…  Time flies when you are having fun! In the Guys group sessions this month I went to Greerton Library to read some football books(I think I have been influenced by the Football world cup this month.). I also went to Selwyn park to play tennis and I went to Tenpin Tauranga to try out their arcade games. I enjoyed playing the basketball arcade game there. In music this month I have been trying different dance genres (Rock, Hip hop and waltz ballroom). I practiced waltz ballroom because I got a winter ball coming up! I have been using AI with my friends.  It is interesting to see what music AI can create!  I have made some delicious food with my friends and staff this month. I made Chickpea vege curry, Pasta sauce and blueberry muffins.  What outings have I been on this month… Well, I went for a walk at Waikareo walkway and I wandered around Toiohomai(Windermere campus). Acts of kindness

 Today for acts of kindness we went to Wilrose centre to give Shaimma a bunch of flowers for being so welcoming to us at their Waiata session, and for being so good on the microphone.  AN
